Schloss Beesdau is a château and Herrenhaus located in the village of Beesdau, part of the Heideblick municipality in the Landkreis Dahme-Spreewald, Brandenburg, Germany. Recognized as an architectural heritage monument, the estate's origins date back to the 14th to 16th centuries, making it one of the oldest in Lower Lusatia. The first documented mention of the castle was in 1366. The structure features a three-winged design centered around a narrow courtyard, with remnants of a medieval square tower in the southern wing and a neogothic round staircase tower in the courtyard. The estate underwent significant renovations in the mid-19th century, including the extension of the north wing and the addition of the neogothic tower. After World War II, the property was used as a cultural center and later returned to private ownership. The complex includes various outbuildings such as stables, a smithy, a caretaker's house, and greenhouses, all set within a landscaped park. The castle is situated west of the "Straße der Einheit" at the northern entrance to Beesdau, enclosed by a simple fence. Today, Schloss Beesdau remains a significant cultural and historical site, reflecting its rich architectural heritage.
