Schloss Nennhausen is a manor house located in the village of Nennhausen, west of Brandenburg, Germany. Originally constructed in 1705 by Georg Christoph von Briest, it underwent significant renovations between 1735 and 1737, transforming it into a Baroque three-winged structure under Friedrich Christoph von Briest. In 1848, architect Ferdinand von Arnim remodeled the manor in an Anglo-Norman style, adding Gothic elements to the façade. Further modifications occurred between 1859 and 1860. The manor is part of the Rittergut Nennhausen estate and forms a rare ensemble with the Schlosspark Nennhausen, an English-style landscape park established in 1780. The park hosts various cultural events and offers facilities for meetings and stays, including a holiday apartment in the Orangerie. Schloss Nennhausen has been recognized as an architectural heritage monument in Brandenburg. It was acquired and restored by Alexander von Stechow and his wife Benita in 1996. The manor has served various purposes over the years, including as a residence for poet Friedrich de la Motte Fouqué in the early 19th century. Today, it remains a significant cultural and historical site, reflecting the architectural evolution and heritage of the region.
