The Aussichtsturm is a striking 40.5-meter-high observation tower located in the Baumkronenpfad Beelitz-Heilstätten, Brandenburg, Germany. Constructed in steel with a triangular base, the tower features five levels accessible by an elevator or a staircase winding around the elevator shaft. The third level, at 21.6 meters, provides access to the treetop path, while the top level at 36 meters serves as an observation platform equipped with information panels and a telescope. From this vantage point, visitors can enjoy expansive views of the surrounding Heilstätten grounds and, on clear days, see as far as the Fläming region to the south and Berlin to the north. The tower stands at an elevation of 67.4 meters above sea level and was completed in just three months, opening on September 11, 2015. It rests on a 280-square-meter foundation, requiring approximately 700 tons of concrete, and weighs 170 tons in total. The construction cost was one million euros. The Baumkronenpfad Beelitz-Heilstätten, the first treetop path in Brandenburg, includes this tower, a bistro, and is operated by HPG Projektentwicklungs GmbH under the name "Baum & Zeit." The path itself is an 800-meter-long wooden walkway offering insights into the area's history and natural environment.
