Schloss Ahlsdorf is a baroque manor house located in the village of Ahlsdorf, part of Schönewalde in the Elbe-Elster district of Brandenburg, Germany. Constructed in 1709 by Anton Friedrich von Seyffertitz, the main building features an east-west orientation and was expanded around 1720 with a north-south wing. The estate underwent further renovations in 1859 and 1895 under the ownership of Georg von Siemens, a notable figure who acquired the property in 1857 and was instrumental in its restoration. The manor is an L-shaped two-story structure with a mansard roof and a three-story risalit on the north side, made of solid masonry with plastered surfaces. It is set back from the village street, near a baroque church, and is surrounded by a large park on the eastern side. Schloss Ahlsdorf holds cultural heritage monument status in Germany due to its architectural significance and historical importance, particularly as the residence of Johann Georg von Siemens, one of the founders of Deutsche Bank. Currently, the castle is privately owned and serves as a venue for weddings and events, offering a romantic setting with its historical charm and picturesque landscape.
