Schloss Lipsa is a baroque château located in the village of Lipsa, within the Hermsdorf area of the Oberspreewald-Lausitz district in Brandenburg, Germany. Recognized as an architectural heritage monument, the château's history dates back to its first mention in 1680. The current structure was constructed between 1718 and 1720 by General Wolf Heinrich von Baudissin, originally serving as a Masonic lodge. In 1726, it was acquired by Baroness Theodora Eugenia von Löwendahl, who resided there until her death in 1768. The property later passed through several owners, including the Counts Redern and Count Ernst von Gersdorff, who had significant holdings in the area since 1671. The château underwent an extension in 1914 and has seen various renovations, notably in 1974 and 1996. Architecturally, Schloss Lipsa is a T-shaped, two-story building with a mansard roof, constructed of brick with plastered surfaces. It features a distinctive façade with pilasters and a mansard roof. The château is located at Jannowitzer Weg, 1, and is managed by the Brandenburg State Office for Monument Conservation and Archaeological State Museum. It holds cultural significance and is documented in "Dehio Brandenburg" as an important architectural monument.
