Gutshaus Warchau, also known as Herrenhaus, is a manor house located in the village of Warchau, part of Rosenau in the Potsdam-Mittelmark district of Brandenburg, Germany. It is recognized as an architectural heritage monument. The manor house is associated with the former Rittergut Warchau and features architectural elements from the late 19th century, attributed to the Heimatstil style. The estate has a rich history, originally owned by the von Schildt family since the 15th century, who received it as a fief from the Archbishop of Magdeburg. In 1820, the estate was acquired by the von Britzke family, who expanded the manor house after 1871 with a timber-framed structure in a historicist style. The estate remained in the von Britzke family until 1945, when it was expropriated during the land reforms following World War II. The manor house and its outbuildings were repurposed for residential use and as a kindergarten. Due to a lack of renovations, the buildings have deteriorated and are now in poor condition, with plans to sell them to private investors. The manor house is notable for its baroque lower level and timber-framed upper level, featuring a distinctive loggia with columns.
