Schloss Dahlwitz, also called Schloss Dahlwitz-Hoppegarten, is a late Neoclassical castle in the Dahlwitz-Hoppegarten district of the municipality of Hoppegarten, in Märkisch-Oderland, Brandenburg, Germany. It was built in 1855–1856 for Carl Heinrich von Treskow and his wife Marianne von Knoblauch-Pessin, to designs by the Berlin architect Friedrich Hitzig, after an earlier manor house on the site had been demolished. The building has a footprint of 1,300 square metres. At the time of its construction, the estate already included a landscape garden created in 1821 by Peter Joseph Lenné. In the second half of the 19th century, the tower was heightened, and the castle was extended on the north side with an annex containing a hall used as a studio and a kitchen. Two years after the end of the Second World War, the owning family was expropriated and the castle was converted into a kindergarten. Its façade lost almost all decorative elements, interior doors were replaced, and remaining fittings were removed. After German reunification it continued to serve as a kindergarten and after-school facility until 1997. In 2004, Brandenburgische Schlösser GmbH took over the building and restored it in stages; in 2007 it regained its original red colouring and exterior stucco. Since 2019 it has been privately owned and includes apartments and a room for small events.
