Constructed between March and October 2004, the tower is a wooden and steel structure standing 36 meters high, with its uppermost platform at 30 meters. It offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including the Felixsee lake and the Muskauer Faltenbogen geological formation, located about 22 kilometers southeast of Cottbus. The lake, a remnant of open-pit mining, covers an area of 12.6 hectares and is part of the Geopark Muskauer Faltenbogen.
