Ocean Village is a mixed-use marina, residential, business and leisure development in Gibraltar. The project includes hundreds of apartments, over 250 marina berths and extensive business space. Facilities feature two casinos, many restaurants and bars, the Sunborn Yacht Hotel and Portuguese-style paved marina promenades on Gibraltar’s western waterfront.
Ocean Village is a mixed-use marina, residential, business and leisure development in Gibraltar, at the northern end of the Iberian Peninsula on Gibraltar’s west side facing the Bay and Strait of Gibraltar. The project provides 316 residential apartments, over 250 marina berths and extensive business accommodation. Construction of the first phase began in 2006. The World Trade Center Gibraltar, completed in 2017, is a seven-level, 17,000 square metre building housing over sixty innovative high-tech companies and forms part of the international World Trade Center network. World Trade Center Gibraltar won the European Property Awards prize for Best Office Development Gibraltar in 2017. The marina has around 255 berths from 8 metres in length with draughts up to 4.5 metres. Many premier berths range between 18 and 25 metres, with superyacht berths up to 90 metres. The marina surface is finished in Portuguese pavement style and in June 2012 hosted the Gibraltar Diamond Jubilee Flotilla. Recreational facilities in the complex include two casinos, numerous eateries and bars, and the Sunborn Yacht Hotel. The development’s residential towers, such as Royal Ocean Plaza, Grand Ocean Plaza, Majestic Ocean Plaza and Imperial Ocean Plaza, feature multiple swimming pools, jacuzzis and tropical-style gardens, and have received several international residential property awards.
