Queen's Road is the longest road in Gibraltar. It runs north–south through the Upper Rock Nature Reserve on the Rock of Gibraltar, halfway up the Rock and overlooking the Bay of Gibraltar. The road forks into Old Queen's Road, and nearby are St. Michael's Cave and the Great Siege Tunnels.
Queen's Road is a road and the longest road in the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar. It runs in a north–south direction through the Upper Rock Nature Reserve on the Rock of Gibraltar. The road is situated halfway up the Rock and provides views overlooking the Bay of Gibraltar. Along its course, Queen's Road forks into Old Queen's Road, which runs almost parallel to it for part of the way. St. Michael's Cave lies off Queen's Road on Spur Battery Road. This cave is described as a large show cave featuring stalactites and stalagmites. It also contains an auditorium large enough to take orchestras. At the northern end of Queen's Road, the Great Siege Tunnels are noted as another point of interest in the area, in addition to the surrounding nature reserve. Queen's Road therefore links several significant attractions within the Upper Rock Nature Reserve, including natural features such as St. Michael's Cave and historic structures such as the Great Siege Tunnels. Its position on the Rock of Gibraltar and its status as the territory’s longest road make it an important route within Gibraltar.
