Gemeinschaftshaus Schloss Vichel, also known as Rittergut Vichel, is a historic manor estate located in the village of Vichel, part of the municipality of Temnitztal in the Landkreis Ostprignitz-Ruppin, Brandenburg, Germany. The estate is recognized as an architectural heritage monument. The manor complex includes a main manor house, various farm and service buildings, a residence for servants, a carriage house, remnants of the estate's enclosure walls, and a landscape garden dating back to the Baroque period. The manor house, constructed around 1850, is styled as an Italian country house with three building tracts, featuring a central courtyard reminiscent of the Loggia dei Lanzi. Historically, the estate was owned by different branches of the von Quast family and included a subsidiary farm called Rohrlack. In January 2005, the "Gesellschaft zur Förderung musischer Bildung und Lebensgestaltung e.V." acquired the manor, renaming it Gemeinschaftshaus Schloss Vichel, with the aim of transforming it into a cultural meeting place. The organization focuses on preserving the building and engaging the community in its development. The estate remains a significant historical site, protected under Germany's heritage laws, and continues to seek support for its ongoing development and maintenance.
